Media General Ghana Limited, the leading media organization in Ghana, has launched Onua Foundation as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.
The Onua Foundation is the CSR wing of Media General’s local language brand, Onua Group.

The launch event was attended by august dignitaries such as MP for Krachi West Constituency, Hon. Helen Ntoso, MP for Ada Constituency: Honorable Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe, MP for South Tongu: Hon. Wisdom Kombla Woyome and many more.

It was held at the newly refurbished Executive theatre on the premises of Adesa We.
“Onua Foundation is a platform where humanitarian initiatives will be implemented in partnership with listeners, viewers, clients and the public, to promote social inclusion and equitable access to basic necessities of life, particularly for the needy and deprived communities in Ghana”, the Keynote Speaker and Board Member of Media General, Dr. Grace Amey Obeng said.

The launch of Onua Foundation is aimed at ensuring that Media General remains committed to the development of society by initiating projects and programs that will provide support for the underprivileged in society.
The Foundation will help to strengthen the bond between Onua and its listeners by working together to improve the lives of people in the communities.

Onua Foundation will serve as a platform for Media General and Onua Group to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Ghanaians. It will also provide an avenue for Onua Group to get closer to their audience and understand their challenges.
The launch of the Onua Foundation by Media General Ghana Limited and Onua Group is an opportunity for Onua to engage with its audience and build upon its relationship with the Ghanaian community. Onua Group’s CSR efforts through the Onua Foundation will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the lives of many Ghanaians.
